Hi guys! I am 5 weeks old as of Tuesday, March 22. Above is a picture of me with my best buddy, Harry the Hippo. My cousins Katherine and Wesley always took a picture with the same stuffed animal to show how much they grew, so I will just copy them a little! I listen to Harry's noise machine every night before I go to sleep and in the middle of the night when I wake up. It is so comforting. Thanks for the Hippo, Grandma Vicki! I am getting so long - I don't think I'll fit in my basinnet too much longer. Also, I don't think I've told you about my poop trains. I don't have small poos often during the day, I just like to let it all out in one big session. Mom or Dad start changing me, and I just keep on and keep on going, making them use SO many wipes and sometimes a few diapers - for like 5 minutes. It is so funny! Also, I had my first laugh! It was in my sleep, but Mommy and Daddy thought it was the greatest! I'm balding a little on top, but I think that hair will come back -- how else will I impress the ladies? Wednesday, March 23, 2011

4 weeks old!
My mom and dad can hardly believe that I am a month old already. Time flies when you are sleepin' and poopin'! I went to my one month appointment, and everything is checking out. I am in the 50th percentile for weight and head size, and the 75th for height. Mommy and Daddy had a very proud moment when the Doctor checked on my tummy time. He put me on my tummy, and I held my head up and turned to look at him. He said that babies are lucky to be doing that at 2 months, so I am pretty strong! The next Chuck Norris, perhaps?
OWEN & ME!
My Aunt Jenny and Cousin Owen came to visit us for 4 whole days, and we had SO much fun! Jenny watched me while Mommy went to help at work for a few hours at a time, and I loved watching Owen play with, well, everything! He and I are going to be good buds, I think.
We went to the zoo, and Owen loved pointing at all the animals. I pretty much slept through it all.
Grandpa got to hang out with both of us.
We got to go on a fun walk, because it was so warm outside.

SCARED
3 Weeks Old!
I am 3 weeks old and doing great! I eat all the time - as evident by my weight gain this week. On Monday, I weighed in at 8 lbs 15.9 oz... an 8.8 oz gain from the last 7 days. They say I should gain about an ounce a day, so I am covering that easily! Mom and Dad think I am getting heavier :). Other than that, I am having a great time! I am recognizing more things that I see, and I LOVE music. I'm not sleeping as great, and getting up after about 4 hours, but we're working on it. I still can roll to my side occasionally by throwing my legs up and around, and my neck muscles are getting really strong. I can hold my head up for a while and look at Mommy and Daddy's faces when they are holding me. Well, my 1 month is coming up! I'm growing up so fast.

Great Grandma Bernie, the Packers, and the Zoo!
I was so lucky that my Great Grandma Bernie came to visit me this last weekend! She held me for a long time, and we all went out to dinner together. She even bought me diapers, and with the way I am going through those things, I really needed them! I love you, Great Grandma Bernie!
As many of you may know, I was born VERY soon after the Packers won the Super Bowl. And since Mommy loves the Packers, Daddy made a bet early on that if they won the Super Bowl I could wear Packers garb. Below is my adorable Packers outfit. I also have a 12 month Rodgers jersey that I can't WAIT to wear next year during the season. Go Pack! :)
My Mom and Aunt Kim both got season passes to the Minnesota Zoo so we could go walk around and see the animals. Peri loved the ducks, the monkeys, and this neat waterfall.... and I pretty much slept through the whole thing. But I still loved hearing the noises and enjoyed my few moments of alertness! I can't wait to go back.
